To mark 36 years since His Holiness Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche’s The Sun of Samantabhadra’s Realm: The Quintessence of Oceanic Prayers of Aspiration, we are releasing a new eBook featuring the English translation of Khenpo Sodargye Rinpoche’s commentary on the prayer.

In 1990, His Holiness sang this short prayer at the Vajra Seat in Bodhgaya, while Khenpo Rinpoche, who was beside him, recorded it on a tape recorder. In this commentary, Khenpo Rinpoche explains the prayer verse by verse, shares stories surrounding its composition, and offers guidance on bringing it into daily practice.

Khenpo Rinpoche encourages everyone to recite the prayer at least three times on this auspicious day and once whenever they dedicate the merit of a virtuous deed. We hope this eBook will help you recite the prayer with a deeper understanding of its meaning.
